Eve’s Memoir

I had the opportunity to take photos and videos at this beautiful artistic event, “Eve’s Memoir,” held in downtown Nashville at the Hutton Hotel.

First of all, the Hutton Hotel and its concert venue, The Analog are both beautiful spaces. I was in photographer heaven just walking into the place.

This was my first time shooting for a “show.” I was a bit worried about the lighting, considering it was so dark, but my Sony A7IV handled the low light like a champ. The only bummer was that I wasn’t able to get great shots of the crowd’s reactions due to how dark it was.

This was also my first time using a mist filter. I had been wanting one for a while now, but when I got this gig I knew it would be the perfect time to grab one with my Amazon birthday money. I love how it bloomed and softened the highlights. I feel that this sort of filter is perfect for live events.
